Eagled-eyed football fans spotted a star from the hit TV show, The Traitors, during Arsenal's epic 4-3 victory over Luton on Tuesday.

Amos Ogunkoya appeared in the show's debut series last November but has since gone on to become the youngest first-team doctor in the Premier League aged 31. Earlier this year, Ogunkoya was given the groundbreaking role by the newly-promoted side, who suffered late heartbreak in their agonising defeat to Arsenal.

Luton briefly led the game 3-2 at Kenilworth Road before an Arsenal fightback saw Declan Rice grab a 97th-minute winner. During the enthralling match, viewers spotted Ogunkoya sitting on the home bench behind boss Rob Edwards.

Fans were pleasantly surprised to see North Londoner Amos doing so well for himself, with one social media user writing: "Good on him." Another beamed: "This is GREAT info," while a third added: "That has really made my day."

A lover of sport, specialist GP Ogunkoya was previously Colchester United's club doctor in League Two and has a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine. Recently speaking to the Royal College of General Practitioners, the 31-year-old explained: "I knew [football] was an option, but it became more apparent that it was actually doable and that the path to being with a top team was achievable.

"I think about it like this - there are few doctors in general and few doctors and sports scientists. I was experienced and had further qualifications, and few doctors have experience in football, so once you get those steps in, it becomes more likely. I didn't think I'd be in the Premier League this quickly, but it was always part of the plan."

Unfortunately for Amos, his team were beaten in the dying embers on Tuesday, although the Hatters are still two points clear of the relegation zone. "I didn't really know what to say to the lads afterwards," Edwards admitted. "What I did say was I'm proud of them, not to let that one moment then affect us too much. I've got to look at the bigger picture.

"They did exactly what we asked of them, gave everything, and football is about entertainment. It was an entertaining game, but my job is to get points as well and we've just come up short today. I don't think I've ever seen them so disappointed and flat, they were hurt by it, we all were, but all I can say to them was they gave everything, they made the supporters proud.
